This design was created for merch celebrating the 30 year anniversary of one of Northern Virginia's premier tattoo shops. It is the result of a drawing that was done by one of their artists and given to me, initially, to just add color and adjust the typography. I ended up changing up the design by incorporating traditional tattoo/functional design elements by including a dagger going through the design with banner to tie in the typography. I then reworked the it while while staying true to the Artist's original design.
